BAGHDAD - In response to American public outcry over stories of Iraqi contractors being paid in unaccounted cash, the recently established Iraqi government has ordered all Iraqi civilian contractors to set up PayPal accounts. Iraqis that are working on American funded projects will now be paid electronically through the online service, ensuring proper accounting of all payments. Despite the obvious problem that only 1% of all Iraqi citizens currently have Internet access, Interim Prime Minister Ayad Allawi states that "whatever we can do to the please the zionist dogs...I mean our American comrades, will be rewarded a hundred-fold by Allah". Farid Samo Ayar, an incensed masonery worker employed by KBR, a Haliburton subsidiary, says sarcastically that he has "lost his PayPal account information along with the WMD's".

Shares of Ebay, PayPal's parent company, rises $1.45 in after hours trading.
